The Heart of Lake Somerset Family Campground

Lake Somerset Family Campground is a family-owned and operated facility. Founded in 1972 by "Pop" Jerry Frey. He had a vision, and he made it happen. He could do whatever he set his mind to do and raised his children to do the same, and in turn, they built Lake Somerset Family Campground from the ground up alongside him.

All because two people fell in love

"Mom Mom" Mary and "Pop" Jerry, showing us what true love is supposed to look like. Mary was the quiet back bone behind our campground, she and Dad always believed in all of us. We are so lost without them, but determined to keep their legacy going.

Family is the best

Sibling love! Steve, Jerry, Mary Ann, Paul, Teresa and Patty were 1st on the scene watching and helping their Dad build Lake Somerset Family Campground. Thanks to them we are who we are today.
